Jaimie looks like a really cute spelling. Do the male Jamies all derive their name from James?

Was thinking of the Mexican/Spanish name, specifically Jaime Hernandez, artist of Love and Rockets, and Jaime Reyes, the new Blue Beetle. One too many comics podcasts getting them both wrong...it's a Filipino name too, so it's a bit of a peeve with me :/
