I should just stick to art shows and not go off to the club with everyone afterwards. Sigh. Hopefully tomorrow's stint at Underworld will be without incident.

Thins are getting out of hand. Didn't I move here because it WASN'T like the US?
Get this DVD. The featurette is as long and as entertaining as the movie. While you're at it, get the soundtrack. I'm looking at you, irian.
Godbrother's journal. His writing tends toward purple prose, but he's so widely-read that the quotes at the beginning of each entry are always eclectic and inspiring. My other godbrother, who I'm closer to, prefers rants to musings.

Morhange? Yup, he was my favorite too. I really love boy choirs, and I'd end up tearing up every time he opened his mouth. I also liked how even though it was about a boys' school choir, there were no religious overtones.

Meh. You know how much I love boychoirs. Have wanted to watch this movie for ages, except a)local theaters never show foreign (non-Hollywood blockbuster) movies and b)local video stores rarely stock aforementioned foreign movies either. Did hear the American Boys' Choir sing the title song with (gah!) Beyonce at the Oscars though. They'd have done better doing it without oh-I-have-to-hog-the-spotlight-and-sing-three-out-of-the-four-oscar-nominated-songs Beyonce though.

I know!!! She couldn't even sing proper French. It wasn't entirely her fault; I blame the Academy for the terrible decision. I mean, the last year had lovely singers for the Best Song category. It was too bad they didn't bring in Jean-Baptiste himself to sing. If the organisers can't even tell the difference between a male child's voice and a female adult's, they ought to be fired.
