argh writing is hard (is this news?)

I seem to have reached the Order of the Phoenix stage of the fic. Not that I am JK Rowling by any means, but how else to describe the sudden dip in ease of writing (I was going to say quality, but I honestly cannot judge whether my fic is decent until a few months after I've written it) and the fact that I can see what happens AFTER this bit but not quite how to get there? As a result I am flailing around and just trying to get the bridge across to the good bits.
