Title: Catch as Catch Can, part 3 (Part 1)(Part 2)
Summary: Sherlock is bored. John devises a game of hide and seek, with a twist: all the clues are pop culture references, comics and film and TV &c. Sherlock needs to make space on his hard drive in a hurry.
Warnings: slash (John/Sherlock), adult merchandise, cross-dressing, RPF of people you don't actually know (and one that you might). Also mention of Print On Demand technology (NOOOO AIIIEEEEE).
Notes: To peeps who are reading this: do you like the linked bits, or do they throw you out of the story? Please let me know...

If this is how you behave when you’re angry with me, I clearly need to aggravate you whenever possible. )

Where would one go to find a beta if one is a fanficcy unknown? And when is a good time to approach one?

I've been writing a prompt fill over at the [livejournal.com profile] sherlockbbc_fic kinkmeme, and it's gotten longish and I'm about ready to de-anon. Have been posting a haphazardly-edited chaptered version on the dreamwidth journal, but I would really like to polish it up and post it here. Then I want to sign up for archiveofourown, to have a place to put finished fic.

Thing is, should I finish it first and then look for a beta? Or ask some lovely person to work with me chapter by chapter?

Times like these I miss the YSML (is old omg)

Fanficcing flisters, what do you do?
