perevisionMore work for Destiny Does--Sara's house in HK. She lives with her research geneticist godfather in her parents' house on Victoria Peak.
I finally settled on this look:
It looks like they're living in the wilderness, but really there's a main road below the house that passes by a residential gated community and a couple of malls. There are isolated bits close by though, which is good for the purpose of the story.
Took several tries to get it right. I wanted something halfway between residence and research facility, like Frank Lloyd Wright or Colin St John Wilson, who designed the British Library. I stole shamelessly from both of them, of course.
